Type NM-B (Non-metallic sheathed cable) offers versatile usage as outlined in Article 334 of the NEC. This cable is ideal for residential fixtures, switches, and loads rated up to 90ºC. Its ampacity is governed by the 60ºC conductor temperature rating according to NEC standards. Designed for 600 volts, NM-B performs admirably in both exposed and concealed projects within normally dry environments. NM-B can be seamlessly installed in air voids, joints, and masonry block or tile walls, as long as these areas are not exposed to excessive moisture.

Assembly Details:
The 2-conductor construction features parallel insulated conductors with a bare copper ground wire artfully wrapped in paper, laid parallel between them. This is encased in a paper separator prior to adding the PVC outer jacket. SuperSlick Elite is available in 14 AWG, 12 AWG, 10 AWG sizes. The 3 and 4 conductor configurations may either be laid parallel or twisted for enhanced durability before the PVC jacket application.
